Hey Vicoy! Is this the first financial services distribution firm of this scale in the Philippines? Are you guys trying to be the Philippine version of Edward Jones (http://www.edwardjones.com)?

I'm not the expert on Edward Jones, but I do know that sales of the different Ayala-branded financial services is only the first step. We're sort of like a Big Planet but instead of cable tv, electricity, phone lines, internet, we're into land, loans, life and non-life insurance, mutual funds, pension and education plans.

It makes sense logistically since you pay all of your bills from one place. We DO plan to expand in terms of branches, but we don't have the people just yet. There are only about 4 or 5 managers at the moment, and about 10 sales advisers. Definitely a lot of room for career advancement.

And we don't accept cash or checks payable to One Financial Group. They have to be in the name of the principal company whose service you need (i.e. Ayala Land for real estate purchases, Ayala Life for life-insurance, etc.) We just do the processing.

With regard to the financial planning, my boss gave me a whole lot of readings to read up on to help him plan the financial planning modules. We should have those ready in a month or two.
