Church of the Gesu...very late afternoon or early evening....sept 25.....relatives and friends who have been supportive from the very start...definitely a barong...

September 25. Church of the Gesu. 5 PM. I'll invite everybody I know! (hehe)
The gown? A white tube ballgown, with a floor-length veil.

Contrary to all the young girls plan for their dream wedding, I never had one. but since you asked and it can happen to me anytime soon this is what I had in mind:
I'll be wearing Jeans, Shirt, and sandals.
in short a VEGAS Wedding
It'll just be us and Elvis
well in the reception that's the time I'm gonna invite everybody.
For me a wedding is about the bride and the groom no one and nothing else. It's not suppose to be about what motif, or who the ring bearer will be. As long as were both there because we love each other. That's all that matters.

I want a really,really grand wedding.Like missus eyes,I want a white tube dress.The train has to be reaaaallly long.All gowns must be made by Inno sotto. Ill have diamond studded manolo blahnik shoes custom made for me. My husband's suite, I want it to be armani,punta na lang siya abroad to buy it. The event will have to take place at the manila cathedral-reception I still dont know where. Basta 9 bridesmaids then I want one of my brothers to give me away. Dapat puro diamonds yung jewelry ko.Yung cake dapat super taas,kasing tangkad ni Japeth aguilar.Gusto ko diamond studded din siya. I want us to make our own vows and the wedding must be officiated by my favorite jesuit. Hindi ko pa naaisip kung ano ang motif or yung souvenir,but I think Ill need to prepare for like 800++ people. Sana my engagement ring would be somewhere in the vicinity of 5-6 carats. I love this topic! basta after the wedding (di ko alam kung saan yung honeymoon), Ill give up my career, focus on my husband and work on having a baby.. then Ill live happily ever after
Oh for the date, either july 2 (birthday ko) or july 27 (birthday niya). Depende kung ano ang mas maganda lalabas sa feng sui. Preferrably, Id like him to pop the question five years from now; ( or simply to formalize things with my mom;pamamanhikan etc.)I still want to finish law school,work a bit para makaranas naman ako mag work and to put some money aside for me.

In answer to the question of this thread, I do want to get married but have no idea what I want the ceremony, etc. to be like. I only have one ironclad condition, though - dapat may groom!

i want mine small. somewhere far where people would still have to go there. good company. no plans to get married soon, so invited would be the friends who stick. early morning. cold. a beautiful dress.

Sorry for probably pricking the bubble, but a serious question about the Church of Gesu. Does the Ateneo permit weddings there ?
yup pero only for special circumstances ata. ewan ko lang kung binago na nila. kasi i heard from someone before na a probable reason na papayagan ka sa gesu magpakasal is if you're still a student of ateneo at the time of the wedding. apparently, the church of the gesu is under a church somewhere near katipunan, i forgot where. hindi ata sila pumapayag na mag hold ng weddings sa gesu.
on a side note, maganda nga ikasal sa gesu the only thing na napansin ko is walang pinto sa gitna like most churches. for me mas maganda sana ung effect na mag uumpisa sa labas ng pinto ng simbahan ung walk down the aisle.

Thanks. I have a friend who is getting married next year. We had Gesu in our sights but we heard that the Church unfortunately does not permit weddings. Unlike other churches of other Catholic institutions

Got married at the San Beda chapel early January 5 years ago. Wouldn't change it for any other location nor time.
