I would like to share the ideas and philosophies I got from anime. In order to appreciate the idea more, I will place the transcript of the scene. I do not claim ownership of the scene. Please don't suit me.
transcript of a scene from Gundam Wing, Endless Waltz:
HEERO: Is this your version of justice?
WUFEI: I just want to know if peace built on sacrifice is truly just?
For that, I will become evil. Earth hasn't changed. Defeating the enemy
didn't change Earth at all!
HEERO: The more you fight, the more the sacrifices for this peace are
wasted. You should know that. Our war is over.
WUFEI: So that's why you don't need warriors? You're going to disregard
the soldiers who lived only to fight?
HEERO: Didn't the soldiers fight for peace? Try to believe in the world
around us now!
WUFEI: I speak for all the soldiers who were used as weapons! I'm fighting for every soldier, including you!
HEERO: Wufei...
WUFEI: You and I are fighting! Aren't we fulfilled only when we fight?!
You and I are the same! We can only find the meaning of our existence
on the battlefield!
HEERO: Wufei, Trieze is no longer here! You defeated him!
WUFEI: You're wrong! I'm still fighting him! I don't approve of Relena
Peacecraft. It's wrong to think you can achieve peace...by just
throwing away the weapons and locking up the soldiers.
HEERO: Is that why we should allow Mariemeia to be a dictator?
WUFEI: It will be something for the soldiers to go by and...
HEERO: That may be fine for now, but she's only repeating history.
The sad and miserable history of war! If we don't stop it now, they'll
need soldiers like us again! The tragedy called history will just be
repeated. Wufei, tell me. How many more people do we have to kill?
How many more times do I have to kill that girl and her puppy...? Zero
never gave me an answer. Tell me, Wufei.
WUFEI: Are you telling me that everything is going to be repeated?

episode 20: "Recht"/The Arrow of Judgement)
ATTY. KINUGAWA: I don't like violence. I believe any matter can be solved by talking. Come with me... This way. Don't hesitate. This is my private area. What's the matter? Are you afraid? Look. At night you can even see the stars. It's as if you've risen to heaven. But...if you lose your concentration, you'll go to the bottom of hell. Whenever I feel confidence or feel lost I come here and reassure myself.
OMI: You've never lost in court. Have you ever lost your confidence?
ATTY. KINUGAWA: Of course. I'm human. Your name is Omi, right?
OMI: Yes.
ATTY. KINUGAWA: At your young age you've overcome many hurdles. Isn't that right?
OMI: How did you know?
ATTY. KINUGAWA: My job has given me an eye for seeing people. You came here because you have some doubts about me. If so, ask me directly. I'll answer anything.
OMI: You corner witnesses and do things that kill them. Why?
ATTY. KINUGAWA: Why? Is that wrong?
OMI: But...
ATTY. KINUGAWA: All I'm doing is working as hard as I can as a lawyer. A defense lawyer must use all his powers to fight using whatever means he has. The same goes for the prosecutors. When both sides use all their effort that's the first time the truth will appear.
Omi: But the results are that a killer goes free. Is that okay?
ATTY. KINUGAWA: We're not God. Judging a person is difficult. It's easy to say kill him but who decides that person's life no longer has any value. Even if the defendant is a killer there were many things that lead him to be a killer. All villains are human. No one is born evil. That's why in court we must strive for the truth as much as possible.
OMI: That's...
ATTY. KINUGAWA: I know. The results are not always correct but I believe that this is the best way. Or do you believe that people who've been labelled evil should be killed without a word?
OMI: I...
OMI: Judging someone is difficult...
KEN: What?
OMI: We complete missions without really knowing the target but is that okay? The target is a human being. Probably has a family. There must be a reason for that person following evil.
AYA: What a stupid idea.
OMI: Why? It's an important matter. Because we take people's lives.
AYA: Yes. We're killers. You should have known that from the time you became a Weiss.
OMI: But...
AYA: We defeat the dark beasts who cannot be punished by laws. For that we break laws and commit the crime of murder. That's all it's about. There's no reason to think this and that about the target.
YOHJI: That's right. We are not the friends of justice. Of course if we keep continuing like this eventually we must be punished too.
KEN: But if we don't do this others will suffer. The weak who can't help themselves. We are a necessary evil.
ATTY. KINUGAWA: Stop this. Nothing is solved with violence. Look at my eyes. Yes Omi. Let's talk.
OMI: Talk?
ATTY. KINUGAWA: I don't remember ever breaking the law. Even if I did commit crimes we can fight each other in court.
OMI: Kinugawa, the purpose of Weiss is to defeat people like you who can't be punished by law. I am a killer.
ATTY. KINUGAWA: I see, a killer. Then you shouldn't kill me. One day I'll be of service to you. I can prove your innocence anytime, Omi.
OMI: This is the judgement of Weiss...

(transcripts from Weiss Kreuz/White Cross/Knight Hunters
episode 18: "Schuld"/Farfarellow)
FARFARELLOW: Teacher. So if there is a God, how come there are people who are sad and people who suffer?
PRIEST: Sadness and sufferings are the test of God.
FARFARELLOW: How come those who believe in God take up guns and fight each other? God...why...why doesn't God eliminate war? Or is He just snoozing, and doesn't notice anything?
PRIEST: What God does is beyond our comprehension, and is all part of a design.
FARFARELLOW: There is no God!...Really, you...think so too?
PRIEST: Stop it!
FARFARELLOW: The body of Your Creation, I'm hurting it. What's the matter? Why are you so quiet? Judge me now! Make me a sinner! I'll baptize you now. Can you take the test?

transcript of a scene from "Berserk"; don't know which episode
"Your friends must be very proud of you..."
"They are my excellent subordinates. They're important associates who help me
make my dream come true. But, they are not my friends."
"A friend would never help my dream. A friend is someone who has his own dream
and strives to make it come true. And if someone tries to destroy his dream...
he will try to destroy that person. Even if that person is myself. For me, a
friend is someone who is on my level."
"Why does a man prefer to fight?"
"Man probably has a savage mind. But it exists to protect his love ones...and
for certain victory."
"Love ones? His family and lover?"
"Some people think so. But then...if he is a real man, he will find something
more important. Not for any person but his very own dream."
"Dream?"
"One will wield a sword for his dream. One has a dream to explore the world...
and one has the dream of ruling over that world. One is supported by the
dream...tortured by the dream...lived by the dream...and killed by the dream.
Even if one is killed by the dream, he would be happy and honored. A real man
will have a dream like this in his life; a life that has fulfilled his dream.
I can't simply live because I was born. I want to live because I have a dream."
"What...is your dream..."

You know, I've always had my doubts about the current educational system.
Knowledge by itself is absolutely useless. One must know how to use it and why.
But this system is not engineered to teach you any of that. It's wrong the way
they just shove it all down your throat. So, I thought I would give you
my own special lesson. The kind of lesson that nobody else can teach that's
designed to wake you out of your complacency. To know and understand one's
path is to die without regret. Know what I mean?

Empire? We have no interest in such things...our aeon...what you are doing is
chasing dreams of the past. Nobody needs a new empire. War games are passe...
So a new empire gets established. All that produces is more of the same order.
What we seek is the chaos of anarchy...because with power like ours, we could
survive anything. With powers like ours, we could even call up the devil...
there is nothing more to say...
When I observe all of you, you appear as if you're trying to save the world
while hanging from a cliff. What are you fighting for? Those of whom you're
trying to protect, if you just tap their shoulder, would easily reveal their
true selves that spread destruction and murder. People such as that, you're
risking your lives to protect them?...What is your hope?...Even if you were
to defeat us here, evil itself will not be extinguished. Your fight is
meaningless...

(forwarded to me by my friend in DLSU)
Imagine this happening to you.
-----------------------------------
*One Sunday morning during service, a 2,000 member congregation was surprised to see two men enter, both covered from head to toe in black and carrying submachine guns. One of the men proclaimed,"Anyone willing to take a bullet for Christ remain where you are."
*Immediately, the choir fled, the deacons fled, and most
of the congregation fled. Out of the 2,000 there only remained around 20.
*The man who had spoken took off his hood, looked at the preacher and said "Okay Pastor, I got rid of all the hypocrites. Now you may begin your service. Have a nice day!" And the two men turned and walked out.
*Too deep not to pass on...
*Funny how simple it is for people to trash God ... and then wonder why the world is in the condition it is today.. *Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says.
* Funny how everyone wants to go to heaven provided they do not have to believe, think, say, or do anything the Bible says.
* Funny or is it scary?
* Funny how someone can say "I believe in God" but still follow Satan (who,by the way, also "believes"in God).
*Funny how you can send a thousand 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing.
*Funny how the lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene pass freely through cyberspace, but the public discussion of Jesus is suppressed in the school and work place.
*Funny, isn't it? Funny how someone can be so fired up for Christ on Sunday, but be an invisible Christian the rest of the week.
*Are you laughing?
* Funny how when you go to forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it to them.
* Funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what God thinks of me.
* Are you thinking? Will you share this with people you care about? Or not?
* I picked you~
My instructions were to send this to people that I wanted God to bless and I picked you. Please pass this to people you want to bless !!

"You know why they call them girlfriends? It's girls first before friends." -remark attributed to a friend in DLSU
I don't know where these came from, but I think they're true:
In any empire, there will always be at least one malcontent who will eventually
lead a revolution that will bring the world into chaos and war. And in any
war, there will always be at least one peacemaker who will eventually establish
a new empire that will bring the world into order.
Fair? What's fair? If everything's fair in a competition, then why does anybody
win or lose? It's because they had an advantage against whomever they beat.
And that is not fair.
Protect the weak? That's the most hypocrital, pathetic, excuse-of-a-reason to
fight. If you fight someone and defeat them, that means they are weaker than
you and that you are stronger than them. Why, then, did you fight someone
weaker than you if you are supposed to be a protector of the weak?
Every person has two lives. One for living, and one to leave behind in people's
memory. The latter is eternal. It lives on forever as long as they remember
you for all the good and bad. Do you understand?
The science of destruction is war.
One should be honest with yourself, what you say, and what you do, because
one only hurts oneself when one does not.
A friend is a companion until the end. Whether as a rival or as a helper, he
will always be there with you.
Good vs. evil is the theme of man's existence.
Good will always win over evil...but at a high price.
The first step in conquering evil is recognizing its existence.
The first step in controlling your dark side is accepting that it is a part
of you.

...The arrogance. You build a suspension bridge, you put a few tire tracks on

Usui: I've lived a life of commitment and dedication to a goal and I never gave up...
Saitoh: Pity that what you dedicated yourself to was a complete waste of time.
Usui: It was a difficult life...but matters of honor often are...I wonder how long
you will stay loyal to your credo...like I was...to mine...
Saitoh: How long? Til I die.

Don't know where these come from, but I think they're true:
It is better to be a fool among the intelligents than to be an intelligent
among the fools, because only as a fool can one learn to be intelligent.
You can't teach an old dog new tricks, but then again, we aren't dogs, are we?
Do not let society ignore you. If you are going to be just another miserable
man, then make sure you are the last one.
How ironic...to spend one's life looking for a reason to die...to find the
reason to live when one is so close to death.
There are only four ways to stop a war: remove the reason to fight, remove the
will to fight, remove the means to fight, and remove the people who fight.
There are four ways to defeat an opponent: copy the opponent's attack,
overwhelm the opponent's attack, exploit the opponent's weakness, counter the
opponent's attack.
Misanthropes don't last long. They hate people too much so that they refuse
help from other people even when they need it.
What is the beauty in war that people seem so attracted to it? Where is the
glory in war? Is it found in the blood of the victims soldiers have killed?
The homes that armies have burned down? Or in the ruined lives of this warring
generation?
We are warriors by birth, nature, and destiny. One who does not experience
pain cannot appreciate pleasure.
Mercy is for the weak and justice is for all.
addressing an academic legend:
I was told by a friend in DLSU that they had a test in Philo where the question was Why? and the answer sheet was seven pages long. The answer supposedly was because, and the seven letters of the word were to be written on the seven sheets of paper, one letter per page. Personally, I don't think that that test could be considered a philosophy test. It's simply a play with words or a grammar lesson. And it's quite insulting for Philo students who study papers and books and hand-outs all night long to be asked such a question.
Other academic legends:
Q: "How do you prove that this chair beside me does not exist?"
A: "What chair?"
Q: Why?
A: Why not?
Q: What is courage?
A: This is.
In my opinion, these aren't philosophical questions. They're just semantics, play with words, riddles.
GodlikeDemon
Dec 19 2002, 03:32 AM
Actually, philosophical questions don't have to have long essay answers... They can be as brief as those listed above, as long as they are well thought of... There is logic behind every one of those answers...
For example, the philo teacher asks you to prove to him that the chair exists. You must convince him that there is a chair. You might come up with a long winded high-falutin bullshit answer, but the philo prof can always counter it... But by asking him to point out to you what chair he is talking about, you are forcing him to acknowledge the existence of a chair. By doing that, you've proven to him that the chair exists.
Regarding courage, it is better to demonstrate and exhibit courage rather than write about it. I know that story about the philo class being given 5 pages to answer "What is courage?" Honestly, you wouldn't risk giving a single sentence answer because you are afraid that the prof might not consider it, it will suck, etc. But courage is doing something even if you are afraid of it, it is taking a risk. By risking failure in giving a one sentence answer, you have demonstrated courage to your teacher in the most effective way possible. You've shown him may cajones ka, you've got balls, kaya A ang grade ng paper na iyon.
Philosophy is never really simple, but can always be simpler.

I don't know where these came from, but I think they're true:
A dream should only be a dream- something we desire but cannot reach. It only
gives pleasure to the one who possesses it in his or her struggle to attain
that dream. During that time, the dreamer feels alive, obsessed, in control-
but actually, it is the dream that is in control. But once the dreamer attains
his or her dream and the dreamer crosses over into reality, the dreamer
realizes that the dream cannot give him or her true happiness in reality, and
that's when the dream dies. Reality is always so much worse.
War is hell. But what is peace? Not heaven, certainly. With "peace" comes
crime, corruption, abuse, and oppression. It can even be said that peace is
a worse hell than war. Because in war, you know an enemy exists, an enemy you
can kill or strike back at without holding back. But in peace, the enemy who
strikes you, steals from you, abuses you, and kills you, is everyone and no
one.
People are born and people die. A slave is born a slave and will die a slave.
A poor man is born a poor man and will die a poor man. A rich man is born a
rich man and will die a rich man. A lord is born a lord and will die a lord.
But what is important is that they struggle against their destinies and strive
to live their lives as something else: a free man, a rich man, a poor man,
and a servant.
Revenge is just an excuse made by those who have given up on something.
If people must not live alone, then people must not die alone.
People's destinies are like a web. They are intertwined and cannot be undone.
The more one struggles, the more one is entangled.
The ultimate freedom is the freedom to do anything you want, but this must
be balanced by the ultimate responsibility, which is for you to be responsible
for the consequences of your action. Freedom of expression balanced by
responsibility of morality.
What people say or think about you doesn't matter as long as you know in
your heart and in absoluteness that what you do is right. What people say or
think about you does not make you any less or more of a person than they are.
An act is an act, a crime is a crime, a sin is a sin, no matter what. This is
on the basis that truth and justice is absolute. But in a world where truth
and justice becomes relational/comaparative, an act is an accident, a crime
is a right, and a sin is good deed.
If beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder, then lust, too, is in the eye
and mind of the beholder.
Too much humility is not pride, because no one can be too humble. One can
only be falsely humble.
A structure is only as strong as its foundation. Therefore, in a social
structure, those at the bottom support those above and are necessary to the
survival of the structure.
The end justifies the mean if and only if the ends are fulfilled.
Tragedies are inevitable but are not to be sought after.
God hears and listens to all prayers from everyone, sinners and saints alike.
But the reply is not always "yes".
Just because something is bad, it is not enough reason to make it worse.
God might have unleashed the serpent, but not without unleashing the means
to destroy the serpent.
Victory does not equal righteousness. Only history, the future, or God, can
tell who is right.
The law is not made for and does not apply to criminals alone. The law is made
for all, including the innocents, so that crime would be prevented.
Die in glory or live in shame?
The best thing about pain is that when you feel it, you're sure you are still
alive and you still exist.
The most innocent of smiles hides the most evil of intents...the most beautiful
of roses hides the sharpest of thorns...the sweetest of tastes hides the
deadliest of poisons...
Courage is not having no fear. Courage is facing your fear.
To accept defeat is unthinkable. To welcome it is unforgivable.
For those who say that they lost a battle only because they allowed their
opponent to win, what they say only proves that they did not deserve nor had
any chance to win, since they made themselves weak from the beginning.
A man can also be an island. But even an island is part of an archipelago.
You have given man, who is a child living in a house made of paper, a match
to play with. You have given man a dream to live for, to fight for, to kill
for, and to die for. You have given man his end.
It's better to swallow pride than to live with regret.

Takashi: Yes, it is a story from ancient China.
Rosenkreuz: A scholar created the first letters. That night, he heard
the most guresome wails imaginable. In the midst of darkness, numerous
demons were crying in sorrow.
Takashi: They were searching for the scholar. "Because of the power
you have just gained, we will surely be destroyed. But beware. That
same power will someday come to destroy you all, as well."
Rosenkreuz: In this way, man gained knowledge to separate him from
darkness, the knowledge known as science. But, man will deeply be hurt
from gaining science...
Takashi: Yes...
Rosenkreuz: Because of Heliocentric theory, Earth is no longer the
center of the universe.
Takashi: Because of the Evolution theory, man is no longer the son of
God.
Rosenkreuz: And because of the finding of the subconscious, man can

humans are trying to overcome themselves.

We're all looking for something new in our lives...no, in our existences. That's why we speculate, imagine, dream, hypothesize, ask questions. Why this? Why that? Would you have this? Would you have that? What if it was like this? What if it was like that?
If I said "what if there is nothing really new to be truly gained in our existences", I would be a victim of that statement, since
I wouldn't be the first to think that up. If I said "there is something really new to be truly gained in our existences," I would still be a victim of that statement, since I wouldn't be the first to think that up. So what am I trying to say? Why do I even bother speaking if either way I'll be a victim of a statement which makes me a victim all the more since it wasn't original? I don't know...(oh, like that's an original answer). Maybe I'm just on the edge of insanity, maybe I'm just dizzy, maybe it's this or that. The point is...there is nothing new, not even this statement.
For as long as we are human beings, the highest point of creativity we could attain is mere synthesis...composing from elements that already existed...not real creativity in the sense of making something out of nothing. I'm not saying it's a good thing or a bad thing- it's just what is.

Professor: If you believe in God, then you must believe that God created everything, right?
Student: Yes, sir.
Professor: Then explain to me how could God be a really good god if He created even evil?

Professor: Then explain to me how could God be a really good god if He created even evil?
Student: Sir, to answer that, let me ask you this: do you believe that darkness is evil?
Professor: Yes.
Student: But sir, since darkness is evil, light must be good, since they are opposite just as evil and good are opposite. If darkness is merely the absence of light, then evil is merely the absence of good, therefore, it does not exist, therefore, God did not create it.

A Question of Nothingness
by Weiss_Kreuz
(for all Philo majors out there)
What is there in nothingness
that makes it a part of reality?
Is it only silent voices echoing in darkness,
or is there something lurking there, dark and deadly?
Nightmares roaming in endless abyss...
Is reality so much worse?
I'd rather die in either short anguish or bliss
than live and suffer eternally that curse.
Light to shadows, void to he universe...
Losing your heart and soul is worse than losing your mind...
Some things do exist in the absence of others.
I'd rather have all, if the higher force would be so kind.
Somethingness and nothingness...
Two faces of an existence we call reality.
But what would we know about such things and forces?
Nothing, but even that is not empty.

Nothing in this world will change if you don't. Even if you tried and failed,
the fact that you made an attempt proves that you changed even though the
world did not. And that means that you can take whatever the world gives you
in a way that favors you.
If I keep on preparing for something, then when do I get to really do something?
If anything goes, then everything goes.
The essence of art is to bring order into chaos.
The bottom line is if something is good or not.

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be
satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs
is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind
of evil against you (falsely) because of me. Rejoice and be glad, for your
reward will be great in heaven, Thus they persecuted the prophets who were
before you."
Matthew 5: 3-10
And raising his eyes toward his disciples he said:
"Blessed are you who are poor, for the kingdom of God is yours. Blessed are
you who are now hungry, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who are
now weeping, for you will laugh. Blessed are you when people hate you, and
when they exclude and insult you, and denounce your name as evil on the count
of the Son of Man. Rejoice and leap for joy on that day! Behold, your reward
will be great in heaven. For their ancestors treated the prophets in the same
way. But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation. But
woe to you who are filled now, for you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh
now, for you will grieve and weep. Woe to you when all speak well of you, for
their ancestors treated the false prophets in this way.
Luke 6: 20-26
Does God enjoy watching us suffer?
No matter how much sympathy or empathy a rich man may have for a poor man,
they will never be the same, because the rich man will always have the option
to be rich or poor while the poor man will never have that option.
The whole point of having options is to make a choice.

What is easier? Loving someone you are supposed to hate or hating someone you are
supposed to love?
You want to know how you win a sword fight? Be the only one with a sword.
Even when someone tells me that they've suffered more than me and proves it,
thus telling me inadvertently that I have no right to complain, it doesn't
take away my pain. That person only tells me that I have no right to alleviate
my pain by complaining and thus tells me to suffer more.
Even if a person of authority tells me that I should answer them honestly, I
can never be truly honest. For one thing, the fact that they hold power over
me prevents me from being honest with them. Do they really expect me to be
honest knowing that I could be punished for what I say? I may be stupid, but
not that stupid.
Even if someone does something bad to me and they try to make me understand
by saying it was their job to do so or they were only forced to do so, knowing
that doesn't take away my pain or my thirst for vengeance. But at least, if
and when I do get revenge, I won't smile sadistically. I'll only "it was my
job" or "I was only forced to do so." Let the punishment fit the crime.
Even if people say that I always have an option to quit or not in anything,
it's not those two options I'm looking at. It's the option whether or not I
will suffer in the end for that option I take. It's not the means but the ends
that count. So, if failure is not an option, freedom does not exist.
You only dream once. Aim high for your dream.
Even if you dream, it will never come to reality, because once it does, it
doesn't make you happy the way you want to be happy.
Thre's something wrong about teachers calling their students names. They're
supposed to be shaping minds, but the way they are, they'll only end up with

To be human is to choose.
Great people talk about ideas. Average people talk about things. Small people

In the words of a friend in DLSU...
"Sermon sa umaga. Sermon sa almusal. Sermon papuntang school. Sermon
sa school. Sermon sa lunch. Sermon pauwi ng bahay. Sermon sa gabi.
Sermon sa hapunan. Ultimo panaginip nagiging sermon. Pati ito sermon.
Hindi pa ba kayo nakakapagod?"
Just blowing off steam...
Heck, I'm really tired of sermons. Every teacher I've had had a sermon
to give, from gradeschool to college. Some are really bothersome
because they're like broken records. Examples:
"This is the noisiest class I've ever heard...I hate to compare you..."
Comment: Right after saying "I hate to compare you" the teacher goes
on a five-minute speech wherein he/she compares our class to some
other class. Guess that shows what a liar the teacher is, huh? And if
he/she likes that class so much, hell, he/she can live with them! He/she
can sleep with them! How's that?!
In gradeschool:
"Hindi na kayo mga baby. Hinahanda namin kayo para sa highschool."
In highschool:
"Hindi na kayo mga grade school students. Hinahanda namin kayo para
sa college."
In college:
"Hindi na kayo mga high school students. Hinahanda namin kayo para sa
buhay sa labas."
In real life, what teachers or adults would say is:
"Hindi na namin kayo alipin. Humanda na lang kayong mamatay."
Funny, isn't it? Basically, the sermons are the same. And if all that
time we spent was in preparation for something, then when do we really
get to do something?
"P***** I** ninyo lahat! Hindi ninyo ba alam kung paano galangin ang
nakakatanda sa inyo?!"
So...respect is only for the elderly? The youth are just a joke, is
that it? It's okay to swear at us? Oh, I forgot. The teacher only
swore at our mothers. And he/she calls us disrespectful. And if we
really didn't respect you, we would have walked out.
"What the hell are you doing here? If you're just going to sleep,
get out!"
That particular teacher must think that there aren't other
teachers giving two hour assignments and that we have spent the whole
night doing it. Maybe they don't have better things to do than to
boss around students and fail them, but we students do. And about
"what the hell are you doing here..." The teacher should ask
himself/herself that question first. Teachers should be shaping their
students' minds, not turning it to jelly by embarrassing them in class.
"Grow up!"
Grow up? Like you, huh? A teacher who wants to show off to some
students and power trip them? A sadist? Sheesh, really grown up...
"I'm just looking for an excuse to fail you, so don't push me."
Threatening at its finest. And people wonder why nobody finishes
from that subject.
And let's not forget...
"Wala akong pakialam sa inyo!"
Well, at least we know how each other feels. Someday, I wish I
could say "thank you" to that teacher, but most likely, I'll
just say: "Wala rin akong pakialam sa inyo!"
The bottom line is, teachers can only power trip us because they
know we can't fight back while they hold our grades.
If only I didn't have a conscience, I would have lived up to the
reputation I got as the "juvenile Hannibal Lechter of school" when
I bit my kindergarten teacher's hand. But I have one, so, tough luck
for me.
