let's say, out of the blue, you have some spare cash. five thousand bucks. what would you do with it? you'd have to decide to spend some, and maybe keep the rest for later, but how would you go about it?

If I were practical, I'd put the 5,000 in a time deposit. If I were a romantic dreamer, I'd go to the province on a short trip. We'll see how far 5,000 takes me. Pero siyempre, bawal ang mag-plane...

okay, how bout something in between "practical" and "romantic", what i'd call a fun asset item.

e.g. a PC, it's a good investment + a fun item.

of course, w/ 5,000 u can't get a PC.

if i'm very much in need of money, i'll spend it.

if i'm in love, buy my gf a bouquet of flowers.

if i'm hungry, eat out with friends.

if there's a good movie being shown, i'll watch with my friends.

if there's a new movie release in DVD, then i'll buy.

but if there are no other reasons of spending it, i'll keep it.

I'm a bum with no money, so...

I'd buy some CDs maybe 4, then i'd go to booksale shops and look around, kung walang maganda, i'll go buy from the more expensive bookstores, tapos i'll use the rest of my money for aircon, lights and coffee at starbucks when i'm not busy doing nothing! : ))

Tapos, poof, i'll be a bum with no money again. ;p
