Full Version: Close Friends Vs. M.u.
Hindi ko talaga alam kung isang babae at isang lalake ay matatawag mong magka-M.U. o close friends lamang. Anyone care to explain the difference?
mu according to "social definition" is more than friends but less than lovers. go figure.

Well... I kinda knew that na. It's just that tinatanong ko what actions or signs differentiate MUs from "close friends". 
i guess you can go intimate with MU. its just short of commitments. hence, anything done by couples is allowed. close friends have limits.

Les Infanterie is right, there's a limit to close friends - they can share a lot of things, secrets, etc, but there's nothing really going on between them, except that they're enjoying each other's company.
With MU, it's a relationship without commitments, and can be easily broken, since there's nothing holding back either of the two to separate once they find someone better...OR the absence of commitments actually makes it more dynamic to the point that commitments might restrain either of the two (too strict commitments might choke the couple)

yup! its hard lang to distinguish if two people are close friends or mu just by looking at them.
