Well this I can say, that recently I went to one. Alone that is (mind you, again). I was confined in an asylum like room for twelve hours and belive me it almost drove me mad! I could hardly believe that I could finally relate to "Sugarfree's song". Being alone in a motel is really hard! I should be with someone right! Darn it! sayang! joke!joke!joke!

Kidding aside, i really needed to isolate myself from everything to reflect on things. I had the oppurtunity to caome face to face with my demons and GOD. In the end, it wasn't so bad to be alone actually it felt good... but I guess it wouldn't be that bad to be with someone next time! hehehe!

when i got stranded in that frigging august downpour that turned EDSA (which at the time was heavily under MRT construction) into the country's longest parking lot. that's the last time i've been to a motel.

of course, i've been to motels a few times and let's just say that i didn't spend my hours there doing needlework, hehehehe! by the way, you must order crispy pata in motels to complete the experience

oo sa batangas. i had to undergo sales training as a brand manager at unilever. na-assign ako sa batangas for 3 months. first night ko, walang ibang matuluyan so nauwi ako sa isang motel. mukhang kakaalis lang nung huling gumamit kasi medyo gusot and linens. hindi naman basa (siguro natuyo na ). hindi mahimbing ang tulog ko so nanood na lang ako ng tv. anong palabas kamo? e di ano pa?!

I helped my friend once by going into the motel (or is it apartelle) at Xavierville avenue once... we knew her x was following her from UP so we decided to make the most of it. Her other friend stayed in the car to watch their reaction.

i went there too, once, and i'm a seminarian, mind you! No, nothing freaky, i just went there to get the feel of the place, to be able to get the vantage point of people who go there, who are also people who go to mass on Sundays. they are also people who talk to me, when they need advise; well, you get the drift. i didn't order crispy pata, though.

the first time i went to a motel was in third year high school... my classmate from SEP (summer enrichment program in ateneo high school) brought me there. nakakatakot! ang daming mirrors.. heheeh

i dont think a motel is a good place to stay in when you want to be alone. there's something about that place that makes you feel even more depressed. besides, there's not much to do in a motel but lie down and watch TV. i'd rather lie down in the middle of bel field and stare at a magnificent canopy of diamonds (kung starry night

First time I went to a motel was Feb 2001, sinamahan ko yung friend ko na nasa city that time. She has no place to go and she didn't want to stay with us sa house so she chose to stay in the motel.

Just came from one a few hours ago. Mariposa sa Pasig. Yung 175 Php for 2 hours na room nila ayos. Sulit.

motel is the inferior version of a hotel.. actually, motel is 'motorist hotel'. so, that means to say, ideal siya for road travellers who need to have a lodge while in the middle of a trip. however filipinos have provided another description of motel- which is what most people consider now as "sex haven". kaya problema ngayon, kapag naririnig ang motel, malaswa na agad para sa iba. our church actually initiated a campaign against the establishment of motels in the city. pati mga pari nabrainwash. tsktsk. so ngayon, bad image na ang motel..

most businesses of this kind ay 'cheap' (in a negative sense), incompetent saka unsystematic. yung buildings pa, madumi, makalat, magulo, mabaho, poor maintenance. hindi appealing ang rooms pati service..
well, hindi ko naman sinasabing ka-class niya dapat ang hotels, kaso lang, dapat nandun pa rin ang quality which goes together with the affordability of motels. hindi porke't simple at mura eh wala nang comfort & decency.

hay, dapat baguhin na yan bago pa tayo makapagset ng bagong definition ng MOTEL..

at ang ibang motel dito sa pinas, hindi pwede mag drive in. haha
