An Iraqi judge says Saddam Hussein will be executed by Saturday at the latest. »» ph34r.gif

i can't believe it.. not long ago, he's the most powerful in Iraq and then within days, he'll be dead already.. tsktsk.

but it's kinda surprising he defended the US from its Iraqi critics & said that his countrymen should not be angry and instead be in good terms with the Americans..

any man's death diminishes me, because i am involved with mankind.
and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls.

it tolls for thee.

do you guys think that Saddam's death is really gonna deter the insurgents?
bryanne
^no, no. never.. insurgents actually desire their death experience. i believe that's where they feel respected & honored.. so no matter what, the rebels will still persist with their beliefs & principles & fight for these at all cost.
unfortunately, a change of heart (if not yet too late) happens one in a million cases. and call me sadistic. i can say that only when their breath stops will their rebellion come to an end. and saddam's not their breath. smile.gif

but you know, we tackled it in one of my classes.. Its really not right to call them insurgents.. after all, a terrorist is another man's freedom fighter..
bryanne
^yeah.. smile.gif i think man has the freedom to kill lives. and another man also has the freedom to run for his life. laugh.gif that said, it's really hard to live in a world of differences- beliefs, culture, ideals, etc. but we ought to be utilitarians para payapa ang mundo. biggrin.gif

is rebellion a positive term? no.. do nations of the world endorse rebellion among their peoples? no.. is killing done for life? no.. we should all think for all, for the whole world.
