in other words, Archie Comics!!

i know a lot of u read and collect archie.
so how about posting?

i used to collect when i was a kid. kaso tumigil din agad ako nung mga sampung digest na nabili ko.

ngayon, naisip ko, "magbasa at mangolekta kaya ako?",

yung boyfriend ko, may super ancient collection (napag-punit punit ko na nga sa pagkaluma e) nun 1970's pa... ang dami, astig talaga... pamana ng tito nya...

My brother used to have at least a dozen of them around at the house. I don't think he collected them, basta meron. Na-curious lang ako one day and tinapos ko lahat in a week. Ahehe. Tapos, tapos na. Obviously, I enjoyed it pero just didn't have the motivation to collect.

I used to like the ones that featured the gang as kids.

I also collected Archie comics for a very short time when I was a kid. Siyempre mapapahinto ka rin kasi mahal at pag bata ka, wala kang pera

Re: the 1970s comics, my mom got a book before that had Archie comics (yung hindi pa digest) all bound together. Besides the fact na nasulatan ng pangalan ng owner and the pages were trimmed for binding, they were in very good condition :cool:

I loved the ads! I used to feel so bad that the offer (for whatever) expired even before I bought the comic.

ako, would u believe, my boyfriend has just bought me a 2nd copy last monday, pero nabasa ko na halos lahat ng revolving stories, pati yung mga family members (who has siblings and who are solong anak, their whole names and the name of all the teachers in Riverdale and the subjects...) kasi the key to collecting is actually 2- yung una, yung mga may pambili na nangongolekta ng marami pero hindi ginagalaw. yung pangalawa, yung hindi gumagastos pero nakaka-store ng collection sa utak nila.

my bestfriends, high school friends and almost everyone who happens to cross my path (ie, mga nagiging class mates ko) may mga archie sa bahay. pag hinihiram ko, halos alam ko yung stories. Ü

but i dont get tire of them. wala kasing malicious, walang kabastusan, tapos they dont teach any wrong values. considering america is deemed a nation na kulang na sa moralidad ang kabataan. Ü

i used to not like it kasi unfair si archie kay betty.

but i think, in the end, it will be betty he's going to marry, or someone else. peo malabo pa mag end ang archie. more than 50 yrs na un e, still has a lot of avid readers..

i like jughead. not that i hate girls pero jughead is the smartest guy in riverdale, esp pagdting sa girls.

right now im reading yung mga malalaking Americana Series, the 60's.. full color and stuff. Ü

i also collect archie comics but i stopped nung nagmahal na yung price hehe

better couple? ewan.. siguro kaya okay yung archie comics kasi may pagkabalimbing si archie.. alam mo yun.. hindi palagi na lang yung isang couple..hindi boring

i haven't read a whole comic book on this, mga parts lang.. although i watched sa disney channel ung archie series.. like kahapon..
