Yael ata ang name ng vocalist. They performed last tuesday sa Tibuk-Tibok. I saw them for the first time... WOW! Astig! They won the Battle of the Bands ata last year.

Spongecola and Rampqueen were supposed to play at our soph night. Kya lang, pinostpone, and no one's sure if they can make the next date. Bad trip.

The vocalist is not russian according to his brother. Kasama ko kasi brother niya sa mga tapings sa telesine kaya narinig ko CD nila. There mom daw is french spanish and their dad is pure pinoy.
Their guitarist is the one who is russian. Kaya armo name niya kasi Armovit. No kidding.

Spongecola..hehehe..are you aware that Yael hates their band name? He said he would change their name if he could. At this point, it would be a bad move. They're just beginning to gain popularity...and change of name would destroy what they have worked for.
Also...they don't like the fact that many peeople liek them because of a cover that they did. "Crazy for You" - If you know Sponge, I'm sure this is the first song that you associte with the band. For those who like them because of "Crazy for You", well, yes, i agree that they did that cover pretty well...but, its not their song. It's still Madonna's...
If you like Spongecola, they have better songs than "Crazy For You"....
And for those who want the CD...they are going to release one this June. Where to get? I'm not sure yet. If you want a copy, and have absolutely no idea where to get one...kapalan mo na yung mukha mo at pumunta sa Berch. There's a whole gang of people there comprised of Ateneo HS boys and Holy Spirit girls. Friends nila yung mga yun. Ask them. Or....kung masmakapal mukha mo, hehehe, go to the musician's bench at the SEC foyer and ask them..they should know..
