Second year in a row that a former blue eagle has won this award. Let's see if LA can make it three.

congrats to larry fonacier, king eagle of the 2004-2005 campaign! fly high, dude!
my son is now an avid fan of red bull. now in prep-masaya, he'll start off at the ateneo basketball school tomorrow, and idolizes enrico, larry, paolo, and non-ateneans lordy and celino. he can easily point out a taxi hood that has "red bull barako" stuck on it. he hasn't seen rich play much, especially since the latter's hand injury, for him to decide whether to add rich to his pantheon of pro ballers. let's out a boastful growl whenever enrico posts up against two or three defenders, and when larry enters the court and drains his treys.
as a role model for future ateneo ballers, larry is undeniably one of those at the top of the food chain. congrats uli!
off-topic (but can be spun off into a new one if the mods so decide): does the 2006 PBA season have the most number of blue eagles in its roster of players? four in red bull and two in san miguel. that makes six eagles in the 2006 PBA. have i missed out on others?

Congrats to Larry. THis is probably a culmination of sorts from all that hardwork and patience, especially after his ACL-MCL injury a few years back. Although I'm sure Larry will still go far and will receive far more accolades in the years to come. Good Luck to him.
ONE BIG FIGHT!!!
