By the way, the Blue Batters won an exhibition game (10-7) last Sunday against the Titans, a group of alumni baseball players from La Salle, UP, and Ateneo. I heard another game will be held this Sunday morning at the Blue Eagle Ballpark. ONE BIG FIGHT guys! :cool:

By the way, what happenned to your left fielder? Did he get a tooth knocked out in that collision with the wall? How's he doing?

Those cement walls should be padded to minimize injury. Somebody's bound to get seriously hurt in the outfield one of these days.

Speaking of the Rizal Memorial. Being there this morning made me despair for our country even more. Years ago, that place was at least clean and well-kept. Today, it looks like a squatter's colony with some entrances being used as "sampayans." Sad to note the lack of progress after all these years. In fact, it's sad to see the retrogression. Well, more work for our generation to undo. But, I digress.

I know Binarao has left Adamson and is now playing for either the Army or Navy team. I think I've faced him in PABA before.

That game was a tough one. It had a great start though. We were leading for a time and it slipped away from us. Di bale, it was a learning experience for us. Our next game is against defending champion UP on Thursday at 12 noon. Hope we can do better and keep our composure.

About safety concerns, I think Rizal should have padded outfield walls to protect outfielders from injury. What happened to our left fielder would never had happened had the walls been padded.

Another thing, there should be ambulances ready just in case of emergency. They have that in basketball diba? Why not the other sports? Man, my other teammates had to rush our left fielder to the hospital. Had there been an ambulance and doctors, the trip would have been faster and safer.

Rizal Memorial should be improved to meet the safety conditions that is required for the sport. And it should be cleaned of laundry and other terrible sights!

Damn, what happened to him was nasty. It sure racked the wits off us...we didn't lose our voice cheering for u guys, we lost our voice getting shocked over his (left fielder) injury...it was really bad. pero when i texted him after the game, he said he was ok. he even said thank you and "enjoy ur day" with a smiley. Where can you ever find a badly-injured person that can still manage to smile? Unbelievable.

well, hope u guys can cheer for us, too, on Saturday! besides, our venue is much accessible than yours. U.P. Field lang naman eh...
