GMA launched a distance learning program in Mindanao and another one in Visayas. I think it's high time for the government to embark on an educational project such as the distance learning program so as to make education accessible to our less fortunate fellow Filipinos in the rural areas.

The program with television as the medium is a more innovative way of bridging gaps like illiteracy.

The idiot box will not just be associated with soap operas but moreso, a learning tool.

The success of the program depends not only on well-crafted modules but also well-trained teachers-facilitators. (training was provided)
