i think the philippines is a bunch of wussies. can't they even just attack them and forced them to surrender?

philippines should not succumb to these peace process/negotiation crap.

I think the government is doing what it can to address the issue. It is really up on its ass, exploring all means --- be it negotiations or armed struggle.

that probably has something to do with the overall sentiment of Filipinos not wanting to kill other Filipinos over ideological differences.

also, killing off the NPA and the MILF doesn't solve the reasons why they're rebelling in the first place. so that doesn't really do anything other than make our cemeteries grow bigger.

but if dying's what you want, perhaps you can volunteer to go first?

I suppose we are. And the US is the biggest wuz for not being able to root out Bin Laden and Al-Zarquawi in both R'stan and Iraq.

I sometimes wonder if there really is a terror problem in this country? Or even if the AFP really is helpless to stop it. Or perhaps its actually good business - for the AFP, National and Local Governments, even regional warlords - that we are given the impression that there is a terrorist problem. I for one do not believe for an instant that the AFP does not know where all these enemies are, and that they cannot simply flush them out and exterminate them.

War really is good business I guess...
