I understand that we have a lot of other varsity teams aside from the more popular basketball, and now, volleyball teams. I was wondering how the less-publicized teams are doing w/ their respective sports. Is there a site wherein their games can be followed so we can support them, too? Can we start a thread here wherein the focus is on the other teams?

I myself have been part of a team that has been overshadowed by the popular ball games -- the taekwondo team. I hardly know what's going on there now, having graduated from college already.

chillosk, our new moderator, is a member of the football team. Pare, what's up with the team?

the ateneo fencing league. there's actually a tournament tomorrow, inter-university. the team is being coached by 3 time SEAG gold medalist coach wawit torres, who happens to be part of the LS PE faculty, with assistance from coach ryan (fondly called pox, hehe, by the afl people), coach ven who handles the epee team, and coach benny, who gives lessons to the foil team and the aspirants.

i heard our baseball team is promising this year. i hope they improve on their 4th place finish last year. OBF!

Polevaulter Mika Santos had a new personal best of 3.2 meters in the recently concluded SEA Games.

The crowd was chanting "GO PILIPINAS, ONE BIG FIGHT!" Siempre they were led by Mika's Ateneo classmates.
