I play DotA at Gamefrog (Metrowalk, Ortigas). I prefer playing version 6.08 though.

I play DOTA pero occassionally lang pag may time. Got any tips on which heroes to use? Or items to get? I like Zeus the King of Olympia... galing kasi ng Wrath of the Thunder God, hero killer...

most ateneans play dota in blue skies, hobby stop, 129 or even the "newer ones" like neo-atenes etc. basta nasa katipunan may dota yan:) from what i've heard and seen the best usually congregate in blue skies and 129, though i myself haven't played in hobby yet. last i heard a team from blue skies reached the finals of a big tournament in taft a few weeks ago where 10k was at stake, dunno if they went all the way though.

so far i've played in other areas like in commonwealth [pipeline internet cafe: nice competition though a lot of newbies] and ortigas/greenhills area [powerplay, EGG, gamefrog: good competition too]. however, i still find katipunan to have the best collective ummm... dota "talent" around, and the worst [or best?] addicts as well.

dota tournaments have been springing up of late all over, i myself am thinking of organizing one, with the proceeds going to charity and a little money at stake. perhaps a cybercafe can put up a medium-term dota league soon?

Late game, Slardar can defeat Sand King. Just perma-bash him to death. You can also use a variety of disables to ensure that SK's Epicenter won't channel.

hmmm... sabagay ampilfy damage mo lang e noh? kaso bad trip kasi yung burrow epi combo e. ang alam ko lang na pang counter dun yung juggernoaut or si naix. unless may black king bar ka...

Any hero would be good. Just find one that best fits your playing style.

As for Zeus, two important items are for him: Refresher Orb and Aghanim's Scepter. Of course, Euls/Guinsoo is also very good for him, especially for spamming skills.

I always use agi heroes. It gives me a thrill, especially since these guys are weak early game. But once late game arrives, beware.

I once played 4 hours of DotA and ended an hour before our math long test. It's really very addictive. You better watch out. (Fortunately, I got perfect in that test.)
