We heard a decision has finally been made. We await the formal announcement from ateneo. Then I hope we can move on, end the frustrations, and support the team. It has indeed been very divisive for the alumni and team supporters.

One Big Fight!!! we look forward to the next season. After all this, tataasan na raw ni Jun Jun C ang price ng season tickets.

so are you suggesting that we should have been at our peak in that UP encounter?

sir, if you have any foggy notion of periodization, the team should be training in a manner that they would be at their peak AT THE UAAP GAMES, NOT IN ANY POST- OR PRESEASON UAAP TOURNAMENTS!!! what do you say to the fact that UP got trounced by 21 points by adamson in the MICABA semis?

sir, for your own sake, please look up the concept of periodization and learn why we shouldn't be expecting peak performance each and every time.

We are scrutinizing not only the game against UP but the performance of the team in the 2nd round of season 67 and the last PBL tournament.

Spirit65,

I heard the decision last Holy Thursday. I was hoping to see it in the papers today but I guess they are still holding back on the announcement.

Good. Now the championship-hungry alumni can stop breathing down the blue eagles' necks and get behind the team just like everybody else.

Of course, the support is only expected to last until the next point of "regression" dry.gif

Then its back to the hire-and-fire cycle once more.

I agree that Sandy needs more time. I say let him have it by being an assistant coach again. Let somebody else coach.

And if that somebody doesn't produce a championship in a year's time, i say we cut the bastard into pieces and feed him to the lions.

All in favor of this say "Aye."
MrGotti
Who do you guys think would be the next coach? There is a rumor that it might be Norman Balck or Koy Banal?

Why are you so bitter?
There was nothing personal about it.
I would like to think that although the alumni was divided, both camps had the team's best interest at heart.

The question is, who will be the next-next coach after the next coach is fired?

At the rate we're going, we might exhaust the country's pool of coaches in a decade or so.

i bet if dr. james naismith were still around, we would have hired him as well. and if he doesn't meet our expectations, lagot din siya sa alumni tongue.gif

This is just fresh from the barber shops of caloocan:

Freddie Roach is being eyed as the next coach of the blue eagles!!!

Si Dan Brown yata ayaw ng magkalat ng kathang-isip na mga kwento. Unemployed na bali siya nqayon. Bakit hindi na lang SIYA ang gawing next-next coach ng Ateneo?
