Hi. We're doing a LS 100 report on Ateneo Law School and I was wondering if you guys could describe the new Ateneo Law School Dean, Cesar Villanueva, to me?
This is in terms of leadership style. (Like is he task-motivated, a cooperative leader, or a participative leader, etc.)
Or if you could suggest a website or reading material with information about his profile.
I've searched everywhere on the Net, and I can't find any info pertaining to his leadership style and the catalog I bought for our report had no information on him.
Thanks in advance.
(Btw, we're ADMU students, just in case you were wondering.)
Cass,
The best thig to do is to interview the guy. May pagka-Pasaway siya but he's ok. As for leadership style, as I recall he's one of those Management-By-Doing-Nothing kind of administrators. This is not to say he's a bum or a slob, just that he's more of a practicioner and educator rather than a proactive, always-on-the-go type manager guy. You might also want to interview his fellow faculty members and colleagues in the legal profession. I suggest you talk to guys like Fr. Bernas, Atty Sedfrey Candelaria, Atty Mel Sta Maria, and the Law School Student Council guys.
