I heard that Olsen Racela is managed by Chiqui Paterno and the group that handles the ABL. Would they be willing to forego profit and allow the use/release of his jersey, afterall, this project is for a worthy cause.

thanks everybody from here and abroad for the fantastic response to the jerseys. local deliveries are no problem but we will have to make special arrangements for overseas deliveries to those in Australia and the US/Canada.

sizes come in Medium, Large and Extra Large but the jerseys are a size larger than the ABL uniform. the equivalent of an Extra Large ABL unifrom is only a Large jersey. price is PhP795.00, regardless of size. we have received requests for women's cut and kids' sizes and we will come out with these for the upcoming designs. there are just a few remaining Hizon and Ticzon jerseys left and no decision has been made to come out with a second production run yet.

watch out for the jerseys of the '60s and 70's NCAA Champion teams standouts. they'll be coming out very soon.

Saw the jerseys of Watson, Arnaiz, and Laterre in the Bazaar last weekend.

The white all-stitched Gaston and Watson jerseys looked very original and premium. Looked very well specially when Mhel Garrido wore the Watson jersey in the Halikanu event that night. (Nagcontrast ang color! ha ha).

The white Arnaiz jersey's my favorite. The enhancement using the air cool material was the magic touch that added justice to the name "Arnaiz" at the back of the jersey - Very nice indeed!

I noticed that the Laterre jersey was the same jersey Zion uses in the Team B tournaments. Noticed also that it's the only jersey that has a rubberized design. I was told that it is actually the biggest seller in the batch even when it was placed alongside the legends jerseys. The unique "A" design on the collar and the side blue stripes make it distinct and different from the usual A-Shop rubberized jerseys.

I also saw the all-stitched Gonzales, Villanueva, and Alvarez jerseys - very premium and different compared to the rubberized versions that A-Shop used to sell.


The quality of the jerseys indeed gives value to their prices which are reasonable. Good work guys! Reserve 2 more Arnaiz jerseys for me!

Yes! Saw them at the bazaar last saturday. Collectors' item talaga since unlike the A-shop jerseys, it will not deteriorate with every washing.

My Fonacier A-shop jersey started peeling when the helper made a mistake with either the washing or the ironing.

first of all, thanks to arhtmahn for letting me use his account while mine was being sorted out. now that i am back on line, i would like to personally thank everybody, especially the Team B Boosters, for the very positive response to all the retro jerseys. in addition to the Hizon and Ticzon jerseys, the Arnaiz, Watson, Gaston, Alvarez, Gonzales and Villanueva were finally put on sale last weekend at the Eagles of Hope Bazaar at the Ateneo College Covered courts.

remember when then Houston Rockets coach, Rudy T, said, "Never underestimate the heart of a champion!" after they won their second consecutive NBA championship in 1995? he was obviously referring to the fighting heart of the team, their determination to succeed and overcome. Mssrs. Arnaiz, Watson, Gaston, Alvarez, Gonzales and Villanueva are now showing us that we should also never underestimate the hearts of champions in their capacity for generosity. thanks for the support out_of_the_blue. i am almost sure that you were among those wearing the Arnaiz jersey at the Homecoming last night. also sighted were the Watson, Gonzales and Laterre jerseys. speaking of Lattere's jersey, yes it is true that his was among the top three sellers at the bazaar together with the Arnaiz and Alvarez jerseys. to those who have purchased or ordered more than two jerseys per design like out_of_the_blue, please bear with us if we are quite particular about who the end users will be. since all these jerseys are on a very limited run, we would like them to end up with genuine fans, Ateneans and non-Ateneans, who will wear them proudly as their colors. the last thing we want is for a jersey to remain unused after purchase, carefully preserved in a closet somewhere, only to be taken out later and auctioned off for profit.

i have been asked if the jerseys are authentic or replicas. i had to educate myself about the difference and the conclusion is they are replicas. the designs we used are faithful to the originals: Arnaiz's 1969 NCAA Champion; Gaston and Watson's 1976 NCAA Champion; Ticzon's 1989 UAAP Rookie; Hizon's 1993 UAAP Rookie; Alvarez's 2000 UAAP Most Valuable Player; Gonzales and Villanueva's 2002 UAAP Champion. for them to be authentic we would have had to use the original materials and include their respective sponsors logos. for practical purposes we took liberties with the materials and decided not include any other logos other than our own.

all the jerseys are now available in sizes from Small to XXLarge as well as a single baby-t type size for women. Watson/Gaston/Arnaiz are P895@, Hizon/Ticzon/Alvarez/Gonzales/Villanueva are P795@ and Laterre is P650@. we have had numerous requests for kids'sizes as well as for the jerseys of other players particularly Jun Reyes, Danny Francisco and Olsen Racela. we will come out with kids' sizes soon and as much as we want to come out with the other players' jerseys we are still in the process of obtaining their personal approvals.

I was an usherette during the alumni homecoming. I just happened to usher this group of guys in jerseys. Three of them were wearing Arnaiz jerseys. Ang ganda ng design. I wanted nga to ask them where they got it but I was too shy to do so.

I got my Gaston and Laterre jerseys today and they are really nice. The Gaston jersey material is cotton knit and not the usual jersey material used today. I think it really does bring back memories of the past... even the lettering is in dark midnight blue as opposed to today's royal blue.

PINEFOREST: I got my brother the Alvarez jersey and its one of the best so far. My brother is a true Alvarez fan (just like your mom ) and insisted i get it ASAP as he wants to wear it to Shell's game this Wednesday!

No, I haven't seen the Arnaiz jersey. Pineforest says its really good but I decided to go with Gaston as he was the coach of the Blue Eagles during my time.

I already have a Larry jersey from 2003 and I got the 2004 Aguilar rookie jersey. I have the 2002 Andrew Cruz jersey from the championship season. My jersey collection is growing pretty fast so I plan to wear them more often to the games. Before, I only wore the jerseys for good luck to Ateneo-Lasalle games.
