Although an invasion of privacy, I am in favor of the bill in Congress requiring ITR to register vehicles under the circumstances. It will increase revenue as there are a lot more vehicle owners than taxpayers. It will flush out corrupt government officials as they have to explain why they own expensive cars when their salaries are only 30 thou a month. I know of a mid-level Customs guy who owns a brand-new BMW, a Nissan Patrol, a CRV and two other vehicles. A database can be put up to help in the anti-corruption drive. Your thoughts?
