Which team deserves to be recognized?

The Track and Field Team, for their continued exemplary performance through all the years.

Track team. Tried and tested through time.

basketball... for a lot of reasons.

Of course, track and field! (sorry, no offense to basketball.) As we all know, the basketball teams of the ateneo receive all the recognition. however, who cares for the track team?! With our past performances (24 UAAP years champion)and our 2002 UAAP performance, how we creamed our opponents, why can't we get the recognition we deserve? Basketball is more popular but still...

theres a recognition day wherein the tracksters get to go up the stage individually however the basketball team gets up as one (or something like that!)

Sa ateneo high school?? Track & Field dapat! Hehehehe, kami lang yung nag champ sa UAAP..

To all the HS teams out there regardless of your sport: Let us regain the coveted title of UAAP Over-all Juniors Champion for our beloved school!!!!!!!!!!

well every sport team in the ateneo deserves to be recognized. but you can never really fault people for recognizing basketball more than track. i mean, bball IS the more popular sport.

if you're saying that the number of awards or championships that the team has won should automatically merit the adoration of the whole campus, then it's like saying that you're playing for your own popularity and not for the school. that sort of defeats the point of having varsity teams right?

yes, the basketball team is so overrated. i think that the track team deserves more visibility in the high school community.

hey! what about the chess team? we had a 7-year dynasty in the UAAP juniors division until this year. it was supposed to be 8 this year, but i don't know what happened. and there are the prada and csa tournaments where we always finish on top. in fact, our players are so good that other schools end up recruiting them in college!

hehe! sorry for the singit! but i think the chess team deserves some more glory! if only chess wasn't too darn hard to understand, i bet it'd be as popular as basketball!

i think everyone deserves recognition as long as they bag the W.

ok congratulations to the teams which participated in the recent UAAP season. of course, all the best of luck to all the teams and participants for the uppcoming season.

going back to chess, oh yah! they are great. i was able to watch one of their tournaments, and most of the participants from Ateneo performed well. I also like chess aside from basketball..

asa ka pa! hehe siguro kelangan ng coach na magpupursige na makilala ang chess team. ako nung hs, sa csa, ayos lang, may shirt yun lang hehe

though i love basketball... i would say track and field.. marami na silang championships na napanalunan. imagine 24 years straight! and nasa track and field team lang mayroong rookie-and two-time MVP!!! record holder pa! naks!

indeed, basketball is the more popular sport. but nothing compares to track and field. try it for yourself if you want! you'll test how far you may go, and transcend your human limitations.
