at, masaya kasama yung mga tiga stscho pag mahilig kang magparty parati, or gusto mo ng nightlife at kung ano ano pang karangyaan ng buhay..

my bestfriend is a kulasa, and based on what i see in her and her friends...

1) they're kinda picky when it comes to having boyfriends. dapat naka-kotse, dapat chinito, di pwedeng atenista, dapat long-back, etc...

2) they're not as "arte" as girls from other schools. no offense to my women friends, they're just really like that.

3) sobra yung pagka-palengkera nila. ang lalakas ba namang sumigaw? but then again, they have this exclusive kind of breeding that one cannot just define that's so refine...gets?

Sobrang daming lesbians! mga butch in particular. They are so sexually deprived. I have a lot of St. Scho friends and all of them as in all of them are lesbians.

The batch after us... was a little lame, cause being an Assumptionista sort of like went into their heads. Naging feeling, in short. Stupid brats! The ones in my batch were pretty OK. In any case, it's good to befriend girls from different schools. Some of them might even be your batchmates when you get to college. At least by then, you'll have female friends that you can readily hook up with.

im a scholastican myself..and ive seen all of it. im on my tenth year there (coz i studied there from prep til 3rd yr)and i must say we're damn good. hehe..

don't get me wrong, im not being boastful or anything.

honestly, i can say that we are competitive students, not only academically but in other aspects as well..although i must say the HS dept is more efficient that GS dept.

there's a certain hard core training that only SSC HS can give..and that produces well rounded competitive citizens.

in addition, we're also very good companions of friends. we have this distinct trait that enables us to have a very strong authentic bond with LOTS of people.

moreover, we're simple(coz that's what they've been feeding our brains with), yet stylish and elegant...

oh yeah, and them... the lesbians. some can be really downright SICK..but some are acceptable in a sense that they exhibit enough decency for people to have respect left for them..but I admit I never liked lesbians, at least not in my school.

but otherwise, we're so damn fine . :cool:

dUh. all schools have something like that. take note...that's a fact not a fallacy!

obviously, this is solely based on my perspective. this isn't just a keen intuition, mind you.

first that lesbian thing. scholasticans aren't really lesbians, and only a few of the crowd are really the verified or obvious ones. i think that they aren't really taking that stuff seriously. they're just on the mild level. but majority (which is a lot) of the scholasticans aren't lesbians.

scholasticans are noisy, and its still a mystery to me why these people are always shouting... i am not one of them and it irritates me to hear their loud voices roaring at your ears...

scholasticans aren't picky... it just depends on the person you know...

it's good that scholasticans are not too maarte. just be kind to them and they'll also be kind to you.

I'm glad to see that the tough but friendly, intelligent and funny Scholastican spirit lives on It's also funny to see how people still recognize us because of our vocal prowess

I'm not saying that girls from other schools aren't any good, because I made friends with girls from other schools when I reached college -- indeed, I hung out with more of them than I did with Scholasticans -- but I am damn proud of my Scholastican background and would never have traded it for any other. Sulit yung dinaan kong traffic, late nights and assorted init ng ulo just to continue in SSC after I moved to QC.

Finally, I just want to say that there were lesbians even in my batch, but take it from us when we say that there are many exquisite feminine Scholasticans as well :cool: I hope those of us who've replied to this thread show that.

i honestly didn't like the environment of st scho. my batchmates were pretty much very cliquish, you know, may pinapangalagaang image.

i guess all schools have something like that. i was my batch's token goth (sabi ng isa kong batchmate sa akin yun, hehehe). but weirdly enough, every single person who asks me, "saang high school ka nanggaling?" and when i say "st scho", they go like, "what? i thought you were from poveda or assumption!" i just hate it when people stereotype you based from your high school... or even where you are now.

but well, labels are some things we cannot escape.

for me naman, students from st. scho are very malambing. they are very open and concerned sa friends nila. i like them!

it's funny pero the posts here seem to place the entire scholastican community at opposite ends of the gender spectrum: either lesbian or boy-crazy.

exclusive girls' schools are bound to have lesbians (who either display their sexuality overtly or keep it to themselves). i know girls from other schools who avoid their lesbian schoolmates at all costs, and i've heard lesbians described as "outcasts" more than once by graduates from some of the nicer schools in manila. st. scho is a very progressive school (always was), and lesbians aren't really considered different from anyone else. i know it's a little hard to believe that a pretty girl is straight if her bestfriend (whom she's with 24/7) isn't, or if she has a lot of really tough-looking friends. pero more often than not that's the way it is, and i've always believed that anyone who uses stereotypes (or a single experience) to judge other people aren't worth bothering with.

i think there's something in the air around taft that makes all scholasticans exceptionally noisy. or maybe it's the fact that we have to make ourselves heard over the jeeps, buses, and assorted vehicles plying the routes nearby that makes us so loud. if our school was built within a private subdivision (which i think it once was, until the area was developed), like AC sanlo and zobel, we'd probably be quieter. or maybe we're loud because we like to make the female voice, suppressed for so long, heard loud and clear (again, progressive education!). i'm in college already and thought that i've gotten my voice under control--until i met up with some of my highschool friends and my blockmates asked me why on earth we had to shout. oh well...
