Narda's an all-Ateneo (not sure about this, but majority of them I know) band, currently a very popular one in the High School crowd. Their drummer's a teacher in the High School.

Narda's an all-Ateneo (not sure about this, but majority of them I know) band, currently a very popular one in the High School crowd. Their drummer's a teacher in the High School.
Some of their members came from the band Tungaw/Brown Briefs.

If I am not mistaken, next Monday, October 25th, will be the last Monday of the month, and the FMC Blue Eagles have yet to guest on the show.
If The Powers That Be don't want to put them on, well, I can't do anything about that. But I can post on this thread and let you know that there are people out there who know that the team exists and wants them to get a little time in the sun.

Oo nga naman. You'd think that after playing in the hardest of hardcore conditions, after duking it out and sweating and bleeding for the sake of the Blue and White, they'd get some air time. As I've said before, the Hardcore Eagles are just as intelligent and articulate as their UAAP brethren. Hindi kayo mapapahiya kung i-guest ninyo sila.
Granted, it would be great to hear from Rain Sison and Rico Villanueva who've religiously watched the games even after graduating from Ateneo (I understand they're guesting this week?), but goshdarnit. As the wrestler known as the Hurricane likes to say, "Wazzupwitdat?!"

Please take the hint, Halikinu Radio does not want to feature the Hardcore Eagles, no matter how hard people on this board clamor for it.
So, why don't the boosters in this group have them featured in another show, like in Jude Turcuato's "In the Zone" or the generic "Hoopstalk" on Sportszone 918 am?
They could also be featured in Bill Velasco's "The Basketball Show".
Halikinu radio is not the end all be all of Ateneo sports. If they don't want to feature the Hardcore team, let's listen or watch some other show that will.

The reason why we're asking that the hardcore Eagles be given a guest spot on Halikinu Radio is so that the Atenean community can be made aware that they exist and are also deserving of support. As much as I would love to give the team a lot of exposure, I think it would be even less feasible to have them on national TV when their own community doesn't know about them.
