I have a laptop that i can sign a legal document saying that if i don't pay you back, i'll give it to you.
PLus, i will let you hold on to my employee ATM so you can get the money first hand during payday.

this is not the place for an emergency funds source althought posting here will undoubtedly increase your chances. have you fully exhausted the following:
1. salary loan
2. company-sponsored med. insurance
3. parents and relatives
4. officemates (swallow your pride and pass the hat!)
5. your credit card. if there's one use for a card it's for real emergencies.
