I wonder if any Ateneans in the 3rd district of QC voted for Franz Pumaren as councilor.

My father voted him as one of the 6 councilors in our district for the lack off an alternative. He also ran for congress twice against Mike Defensor before but he lost badly.

yes i did vote him to the QC council. he ran for congress only once, in 1998, and yes he was beaten by mike defensor.

granted that he strikes me as a part-time public servant, which i said so myself to his face, i would like to say that i've had pleasant experiences working with him and his staffers on a number of occasions. OK naman siya, madaling kausap, believe it or not.

I didn't vote for him because I got upset with all the small courts / hoops that sprouted in Proj 2, 3, and 4 with his name plastered all over it that says, "donated by Franz Pumaren." Bawal kasi sa daan yun eh.

I must admit his exposure ganered him enough votes. I didn't even know the rest of the other candidates so I just left most of my councilors blank.

Mike Defensor shud be kicked in the butt! I hope I will be given that honor.

No I did not vote for Franz, but I have to admit my reasons may not be all that objective. I was a bit surprised to find out he was on the Aksyon ticket. I did not vote for the Defensors either; mostly because I think they are trying to follow the Mathays by fielding relatives as successors.

I have friends who live in Proj 2 near the YCL basketball court, and I was there during the Miting De Avance of the Belmonte ticket. Sa totoo lang hataw na mga barely adequate knuckleheads ang mga naglaban sa pagka-Konsehal. Except for Bollet Banal and to a limited extent Wency Lagumbay, each and every one of them was invisible outside of the campaign. Matt Defensor, except for being related to underperforming bacteria Mike and Maite Defensor, was also invisible when he was Congressman (?) before too. Now just because none of his relatives could run for one reason or another HE ran! Kailan kaya magpapasa ng Anti-Dynasty Law para matigil ng kagaguhan na ganito?

BTW who won in the 3rd Dsitrict of QC anyway? Alam ko pasok na naman si Boy Bigote e.
