I plan to buy an PS 2 in summer to play FFX international. by that time sana maglabas sila ng American Version (if there is tell me!!!)

If I understand it right though, cuz I haven't played it... then FFX is a dream ryt? so in other words, They can do anything in FFX-2 because the reality in which Yuna and Rikku exist in has not been given explanation yet.

Am I correct in this assumption?

And is there any way for me to go to one of your houses and watch you play the darned game?

Okay, question:

FFX international (original) can be played on which kind of PS2? Do I have to get one that can play only jap originals? Is there one out that can be played on american?

Or does the International on the title mean it can be played on both systems?

I have the pirated International version and I play it on my jap PS2.

The original should work on both kinds of PS2's if I'm not mistaken. Just check the back of the cover to be sure.

International means it carries both languages: english and japanese.

When you first play it, the words are japanese. The FMV's and voice overs are english though. As soon as you can access the menu, some 10 - 15 minutes into the game (don't worry, madali lang yan), you can change it to english.

malamang isasave si tidus.. hindi kumpleto yung taenang love story nila e..

masyadong love story ang FF.. nagfofocus masyado sa plot ng pagibig.. nakakairita na.. nung ff6 naman yung love story don minor lang e.. oo nga at si TERRA gusto matuto magmahal, pero iba parin e.. hindi cheesy love story yon e.. nung ff7 mejo mild lang e.. kaya ayos lang..

sa ff8 nagsimula maging cheesy e.. tapos hanggang umabot sa ff10 na biglang ginawan ng ff10-2 para lang matuloy yung love story..

ibang plot naman.. taena.. nakakagago na e..

meron akong clip ng extra ending ng ffx international kung gusto nyo.. pwede ko i-upload sa site ko if you guys want to take a look at it.. they still don't show the third character in the ending and it's basically only a teaser to show that there WILL indeed be an ffx2 (which is pretty obvious by now anyway).

Yung isa pang bad trip sa FFX, you can't choose what you want to say anymore. You're forced to do what the game wants you to do. You can't choose all the funny speech options anymore like you used to with FFVIII. Hehe. Cranky Squall. It was always so much fun to make him be mean.

so i decided to finish the game just this am around 2am, since i dint feel like sleeping and my bro was at the pc playin RS.. so idecided y not.. the PS2 has been on stand by ever since the arival of the PC kaya ndi ko natapos ang game.. so just this AM, an hr after resuming where i left off.. i finished it.. taena! panget nga talaga ang ending.. bitin! da best pa rin ang FF8 for me.. very disapointing ang story... tsk tsk tsk

FFX is so damn great specially the FMVs! Hands down! I love the part when Tidus and Yuna are in d water and swimming around like fish. But FFIX is still the best for me cuz I like the somewhat childish graphics and comic story. Legend of the Dragoon and Silent Hill 2 aren't bad u guys should give it a try. The game of the guy below does not need any further introduction. Its simply the best PS/PS2 series that u play over and over and over again.

front page lang yan eh.. pati photoshop.. ginagamit ko yung frontpage kasi hirap mag handcode.. it's too redundant.. nag-self study na rin ako ng html.. so yung ibang parts, kelangan talaga i-hand code.. but for the most of it, frontpage helps out a lot..

guys, im playing ffx international right now and i have to admit the game so rocks!! madali lang ung chocobo race for the sun sigil... i got it in my 4th try.... just concentrate... and.... i already got caladbolg, spirit lance, masamune and nirvana,.... im working on wakka's sigil... nakakatamad ang sigil ni lulu!!! 200 thunderbolts?! sira ulo ba sila!? kay rikku nakakatamad din.... oh by the way, madali lang si omega weapon, dont forget to bribe ultima weapon for 1.5 million gil para may 60 pendulums kayo and talk to Wantz on mount gagazet coz he will sell THE best empty 4 slot armors in macalania..... peace out. )

Gervase: Yep. Albeit, an *uglier* prequel, in terms of game mechanics and storyline. I mean, come on... Nakita mo ba ang cut-scenes ng game? First 10 hours of gametime, you get nearly half the number of hours in cut-scenes. The graphics might've been better than Xenogears, but that's about it, hehheh.

I dunno with games nowadays. Masyadong maarte with their cut-scenes. Wala pang "skip button", ugh!

Can't wait for FFX-2. I've the Japanese version here, pero I can only go so far deciphering the script. I'll wait for the English version na lang.

Another game to watch out is Kingdom Hearts 2... Man, that's gonna be sweet, kung nakita ninyo yung full version ng "secret ending" ng KD:FM... *grins evilly*

Fun ang mga Dark Aeons. If you "re-map" the sphere grid, like I did, maxing out all the possible spheres with the best spheres, kaya mong makipag-hampasan sa kanila easily. Don't try to engage them if you don't "fix" the sphere grid - you'll just get slaughtered.

Kung tamad ka, pray (and pay) to Yojimbo nai-autokill niya ang mga Dark Aeons na yun. May "secret boss" pa after mapatay mo ang lahat ng mga Dark Aeon, so...

since we're on the topic of FF... does anyone know if and when FFXI will be made available here in the philippines? I'm dying to play it... thanks

I already pre-ordered a copy for the X-2 too bad it's going to be out in Dec. 3 (I can play the game during x-mas break ) Well I have this magazine that previews the FFXI, I just didn't like it and the characters is not that great for me actually.

well, i finally got my hands on FFXI and it was worth every penny, every expectation and every second of waiting. what a game! Pucha, the gameplay is amazing and the fact that it's an MMORPG makes it even better. If you want to skip work, class, forget your family and friends, then get FFXI! haha.

Im still getting my X-2 this thanksgiving I still can't wait to see what is looks like.

balita ko hindi daw supported ng playonline ang philippines sa ffxi ps2.. olats.

X-2 is already out. already playing it (currently 29% complete)and boy oh boy, it really is a deviation from the past ff's. the game, i think, is actually a fan-service meaning it contains a lot of ecchi and perverted images and scene. one cannot help but notice those smooth and supple bodies of the lead characters and not to mention those smooth-as-silk-armpits (hehe, somebody has to say it!) if you think that ffX is too linear, then the sequell is anything but linear. the moment you take control of the game, bang, you can go everywhere you like (almost.)

more comments later. still have to watch the opening CG again (and again!)

just got it yesterday! har-har.. i'm about 7% through it.. grabe, an weird ng battle system! you and your enemies can attack both at the same time. there's just this turn gauge thingy..

gab's right. they're uhm... "exposed".. and they don't keep it a secret.. [hahaha! langya, ang baduy!] no seriously, you'll really notice that they seem to raise their arms quite often. seeeesh.. don't know about the fan service thingy, i haven't noticed it.. [maybe later on the game?]

but still, i think the game's really worth playing..

battle system is just like grandia 2. you can cancel enemy attacks and special moves take an extra ATB guage before they are excecuted. langya, paine is hot!

hahaha.. come to think, people used to think paine was the "new version" of lulu.

ff fan ako since ff6, pero sobrang skwater talaga nitong x-2.. taena.. olats sobra.. mas skwater pa siya sa ff9..

somehow, i feel the same way. i really miss the "epic" feel of FF6 of the tear-jerking moments and great character build-up of FF7. and what the heck, i miss FF8 too. X-2 was such a downer because: first, it was too short. second, the feeling of it being a sequel and a conclusion of X is not there. third, characters are bland and dull (nice bodies by the way.) and lastly, even though the graphics are great, parang tinamad silang gumawa ng bagong monster designs at landscapes.

although the game was a wonder visually, i felt that game was so much of a derivation from the FF's we've come to love. sana lang gumawa sila ng FF13 na parang tribute to old FF games.

badtrip talaga e.. yung buong idea palang ng "X-2" ang sagwa na e.. simula palang talaga, "ah taena, wala na to.."

sana wag nila imurder yung FF VII-2.. wag nilang igaya dito sa X-2..

well, may FFXII pa naman e.. 3rd o 4th quarter ng 2004 lalabas.. sana mabalik yung lumang "charm" ng ff games.. pasagwa ng pasagwa e.. o baka tumatanda lang talaga ako..
