super mario brothers....on an 8bit nes. (family computer yata tawag nyo dito noon.) hahahaha. it fired my love for gaming. i was a mere 3 year old.

For PC games, I'm having a knack of finding and playing those old games like Battle Chess (I love it when the chess pieces fight!), Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, Taipan, etc. I'm trying to find Captain Goodnight for my PC but can't seem to find one. My next target is Tetris. God I miss that game!

For Super Nintendo, definitely Super Mario World as well as any other variation of Super Mario (especially Super Mario 3). I miss those games!

For Playstation, I've always loved MLB.

i got the zone of the enders: the 2nd runner (PS2) recently. the graphics are superb and the gameplay is a not a let-down. i can consider zoe 2 as the best game(yet) for me. :cool:

when it comes to the "classics," puzzle bubble (PS) is the game i cannot forget.

Naaaliw lang talaga ako sobra.

Hmm... i dont see any Generals or Battlefield nominations here.. pero if u say best, then it has to be the original trendsetting Half-Life and The Sims. And GTA-III of course. Where else could u rampage around town on a flying tank?

EVERQUEST and the hottest internet game here in US right now is the SWG!! its so cool.. im not sure if its available in philippines now.. but it is so cool!!! u can practically do almost anything.. play games, chat with different people.. and if u really work hard u can be a JEDI! but if u dont want figthing.. u can be a doctor and u will heal the players who are wounded.. or u could be an entertainer.. an architect, an engineer etc! its like living in a real world. in a real city! u can even build ur own house man! its so cool!! i now have my own house there hehe! and u can have a pet, a car etc!! i can even travel from different planets to another.. there are i guess almost 10 planets u can go to but u have to earn the money of course.. and u can do that on the game.. u can be a business and sell things!! now they are trying to improve it by having politicians!! maybe next year may election rin sa game na yun hehe!! :cool:

20 replies later, i would have thought someone would mention FINAL FANTASY 7 here. Best game i played and probably the best game i will ever have played! Cloud Strife can kick any other video game character's ass.

ff7 deserves a remake for the ps2.

wel, as of now the best game i ever played is the RAN online... do u know that online game? in case u dont know that, it is a RPG... try visiting its site... www.ranonline.com.ph... it is one of the online game that E-games handled... they also have O2Jam... i really enjoyed playing this one... it has very cute animation and effects... but your eyes must be very alert for you to level up your character... for more information you want just visit its site... www.o2jam.com.ph... or e-games site... www.e-games.com.ph... have fun playing these games...

i'm mostly a PC gamer.. and it's hard to pick THE best game, so i'll post my top faves per genre

Best Strategy: Starcraft, Warcraft series, Heroes of Might and Magic series

Best FPS: Counter Strike, Half-life Series, F.E.A.R. (best thriller game!

)

Best RPG: Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate Series, Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Best simulators: NFS Series, Mech Warriors series
