Aegis stinks. Forgive me moderators for saying this, but I believe this holds true for batch 1997. It has been four years and we still don't have the yearbook. My brother just graduated last saturday and he has his aegis with him when he went home.

I think it is unfair for us who do not have our yearbooks. We paid this in full on the second semester of our senior year, and so we did our part. But is the administration doing their part of the bargain? :mad:

try wringing the necks of the Aegis staff from your batch. if it doesn't net you your copy of aegis 1997, it should at least be therapeutic.

That's the problem. I think our supposed editor gave up on the project and went abroad! How can I wring her neck! Now they placed our Aegis to the hands of the ORP people. We're doomed!

I'm from batch 98 and we did receive our 4-volume yearbook on graduation day. Unfortunately, volume 5 (the events and directory volume) and the cd-rom are nowhere in sight. It seems that the materials are missing.

Kool lang kayo mga kapatid...ako from Batch '92 sa June 2001 lalabas ang aming AEGIS. Biruin mo almost ten years. Iyong iba sa amin nalimutan na nga ito. Ang pera kasi namin...di alam kung saan napunta. Napunta yata sa bulsa ng kung sinu-sino. Anak daw ng politiko ito ...e... Nevertheless...wala akong pake dine kasi bahala na si Lord sa kanila.

Overstreet92, I asked the same question from Ateneo and they said the money was intact. It's the admin who holds the bank account.

I was told by someone from Law School that we can actuatlly sue our editors for breach of contract. Then someone else told me that Aegis 97 was already under production and was ready for distribution by July except that there were snags, yada yada yada. The problem is, these are all mouthfuls. Isn't there something we can do that's more productive? I mean we've been whining for the longest time and we still don't have our yearbooks.

Ask the law school person! Let's sue these bastards. Especially the editor who went to the states -- Katherine So! Take her picture out from that stupid yearbook! Burn her! Excommunicate her! Whatever! :mad:

I'm batch 99 and got my year book last 1999. But the CD-ROM I only received 2001!!!! jeesus christ!!!

I'm from Batch 95 and they keep saying that our Aegis will come out this so-and-so month. Lagi namang wala. :confused:

Can anyone tell me how Aegis 95 is going? A lot of us are seriously thinking about taking legal action.

i'll be graduating from med school on april e wala pa rin yearbook ko from college?!!they promised to have the yearbook after graduation d ba ,and they collected all the write-ups early,may baby picture pa e hanggang ngayon wala pa rin!i also e-mailed itong web site na to sabi nila by end of may daw, e ngayon,august na a!!

Hindi ko nga kilala. Sana may yearbook na tayo nang mapakulam ko na.

Ang press release daw ay umeskapo na ang mabuting tao patungong Tate! Meron ako dating celphone niya, kaya lang naburo ko. sayang!

As for our yearbook, pinadalhan ko na rin ng e-mail ang Ateneo ALumni Office. Angs abi nila, hindi daw sila magbibigay ng anumang exact date hangga't may yearbook na sila sa kamay nila. So maghanda ka na ng proxy letter authorizing your apo to claim. hehehehehe.

Dude the sad thing is despite waiting all these years for our yearbooks, we cant be sure that they did a perfect job theres still a big chance that there would be lots of errors with writeups and pictures, like what happened to my bluebook batch 93 two of my classmates pictures were switched! grabe yun badtrip! I wonder if theres a chance that we can see if our writeups and pictures are error free. could we go there sa ORP and ask them about it and see how the've edited the whole thing? Plus is there a chance that they'll give back the old pictures that we gave them before? sayang din yun memories kaya yun!

sadly, there are no answers to these questions. Maybe you could e-mail the Alumni Office or the ORP.

Is the yearbook really out ?

At least it's early for our 10 year anniversary (I think that's what they were going for originally!)hahaha
